March : Home Improvements
It’s an ill wind, the say, that brings nobody any good.  Well the dreadful spring weather certainly didn’t bring much good but it did mean that the fitting, plumbing and decorating crew were able to get much work done without any interference from those pesky croquet players. The coffee corner has been completely refurbished with new worktops, cupboards, surfaces, lino and fridge and the floor has lost it’s dip. The ceiling has been painted as have the external walls and, best of all, the rubbish has been removed from the gap between our two buildings.

On duty for the second session at Stoney Ley are, left to right, John Steel, John Evans, John Guy, Stuart Smith and Roy Schofield.

The Clubhouse, new paint and all the rubbish gone.
